Max Marmi Carrara considers the natural stone a symbol of culture and development, from ancient civilizations to the present day, and is aware that our challenge for the future will be to rebalance the relationship between man and nature, rediscovering the value of marble, a unique element to be recovered and given to future generations.
The natural stone is an expression of the beauty, strength, and fragility of the planet that hosts us. In this context arises the partnership with the CON-VIVERE Festival, which dedicates this edition to the theme of "Cure", a word that contains many meanings, from the love of a mother for her child to the attention of all of us towards natural riches, through the pandemic emergency.
CON-VIVERE CARRARA FESTIVAL "CURA"
9-12 SEPTEMBER 2021
The 2021 edition of con-vivere Carrara Festival, promoted by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Carrara, will be held from 9 to 12 September. "Cura" will be the central theme and to coordinate this edition will be Telmo Pievani.
The treatment has been the focus of attention in the last year, due to the health emergency associated with the pandemic Covid 19. Today’s situation has, in fact, placed at several levels and in more areas the need for new mental maps with which to read and understand the present, having taken care to ensure a better future. In this direction, the attitude to care extends to include the entire planet, whose livability for future generations is endangered by human neglect. Care is therefore also expressed in the commitment to preserve and protect the planet, a commitment that must be made at all levels, for organisms, for populations, for species, and for ecosystems, safeguarding biological and cultural diversity. Care is part of the order of essential things because our way of being is intimately connected with caring for us, for others, and for what surrounds us. Care is both concern, solicitude and positive action addressed not only to the physical dimension but to every aspect of the human being and the world around him.
